This position is an entry-level position responsible for assisting experienced technicians with a variety of tasks, including: inspecting and testing vehicles, performing basic repairs, and ordering parts. As the Apprentice Technician, you will be working under our experienced Technicians to learn the trade and advance your career. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist experienced technicians with inspections, maintenance and repairs of vehicles
-Follow company-created checklists to inspect and test vehicles
-Perform standard mechanical repairs, such as changing brake pads, oil changes, etc.
-Learn repair techniques under the supervision of Master Technicians
-Write labor time and parts cost estimates
-Test vehicles before and after repair procedures
-Attach car batteries to in-shop testing devices to determine functionality
-Maintaing the shop and the tools within.

-Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning the automotive trade
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to lift and move heavy objects
