Thompson Palm Springs is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Poolside Service Attendant to join the hotel’s opening team. Thompson Palm Springs is poised to become the desert’s most exciting destination tailored for influential locals and sophisticated globetrotters alike. Situated at the heart of the city’s iconic Palm Canyon Drive, the hotel will offer a collection of 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms and suites coupled with our total event space of 8,000 square feet plus additional outdoor and unique spaces. Thompson Palm Springs will also house its own mainstay dining concept that will feed into the menus at two bespoke pools and accompanying lounges. an impressive array of ground-level retail space spanning over 30,000-square-feet, guests will also have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center and a first-of-its-kind tasting room from HALL Napa Valley, with additional tenants to follow.
As a Poolside Service Attendant , you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, including arranging chairs, towels, and umbrellas. You will also assist with running food and drinks, bussing, and ensure the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests. T his is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.50 plus additional gratuity. This is the annual hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

Qualifications
- Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card
- Must be over the age of 21
- Comfortable with working indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions
- Previous experience working at a luxury hotel/resort is a plus
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Weekend availability is a must
