Project Manager – Architecture & Engineering
Tri-Cities, TN & Southwest, VA | Multi-Office A/E Firm | Leadership Opportunity
Are you an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager looking to lead impactful projects in a dynamic, multi-office Architecture & Engineering firm? We are seeking a driven leader to manage architectural (primary) and engineering (secondary) projects across multiple counties.
Who You Are:
A strong communicator and results-driven leader with experience managing complex architectural and engineering projects. You have a solid understanding of public funding agencies and the ability to oversee multiple projects from planning to completion.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with the appropriate resources.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key liaison between project teams, clients, funding agencies, and consultants.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to identify and contract new projects and develop marketing and sales strategies to expand our presence.
- Regularly meet with clients to assess project progress, explore funding opportunities, and identify new business prospects.
- Work closely with the Senior VP of Project Management, VP of Business Development, and regional Client Manager to align business strategies.
- Manage project administration, including proposals, contract negotiations, billing reports, and meeting coordination.
What You Bring:
- 8-10 years of experience managing architecture and/or engineering projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional license (AIA/PE) preferred but not required.
- Strong financial management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal funding agencies is a plus.
- Experience managing design and production teams in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and attend occasional after-hours events.
