What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Thompson Michie Associates Inc?
HVAC Certification Type II or Universal (Preferred)
CPO Certification Current (Preferred)
Troubleshoot, diagnose & correct the following: HVAC, minor plumbing, electrical, appliance problems.
Performs written resident work orders as assigned by supervisor.
Know current condition of all vacant apartments.
Provide minor carpentry/sheetrock repairs.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on rental units.
Flooring repairs, rekey locks, inspect for safety hazards.
Paints rental units as scheduled by supervisor.
Caulk counter tops, sinks, bathtubs, etc. as needed.
Changes A/C filters, check coils, and cleans if necessary.
Maintain landscape & pool care.
Maintains tools and equipment in good safe working order.
Incorporates both safety and customer service in a professional manner at all times on all jobs.
Shovel snow, plow and salt or use ice melt, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
