What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Thompson Michie Associates Inc?
- HVAC Certification Type II or Universal (Preferred)
- CPO Certification Current (Preferred)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose & correct the following: HVAC, minor plumbing, electrical, appliance problems.
- Performs written resident work orders as assigned by supervisor.
- Know current condition of all vacant apartments.
- Provide minor carpentry/sheetrock repairs.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on rental units.
- Flooring repairs, rekey locks, inspect for safety hazards.
- Paints rental units as scheduled by supervisor.
- Caulk counter tops, sinks, bathtubs, etc. as needed.
- Changes A/C filters, check coils, and cleans if necessary.
- Maintain landscape & pool care.
- Maintains tools and equipment in good safe working order.
- Incorporates both safety and customer service in a professional manner at all times on all jobs.
- Shovel snow, plow and salt or use ice melt, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
