What You’ll Do as an Accounting Associate:
As the Accounting Associate, your primary responsibility will be providing accounting and financial support services. Specific responsibilities include:
- Performing the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions.
- Entering invoices and printing checks.
- Maintaining accounts payable records and recording amounts due.
- Verifying invoices and calculating discounts.
- Ensuring vendors and suppliers are paid accurately and within established time limits.
- Helping to maintain W-9s and insurance for all active vendors.
- Reconciling monthly vendor statement.
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role:
- Associate degree or equivalent level of education and experience.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Experience in handling high volume Accounts Payable.
- Proficient in Excel and a working knowledge of other Microsoft programs required.
- Yardi accounting software experience preferred.
