The Tire Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance and service of commercial tires.

The Tire Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance and service of commercial tires.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and services on customer vehicles to include installation, repair and alignment of tires. Utilize proper tools and equipment to complete work in a safe manner. Communicate safety and equipment concerns to the Service Manager.
- Complete rotational on-call work including nights, weekends, and emergency road services.
- Drive company vehicles when needed, adhering to all company and DOT safety requirements.
- Check work for accuracy, including assisting other members of the team as needed.
- Clean work area when needed and at the end of the shift to maintain a safe work environment.
Job Experience
Tire or mechanical experience will get you up to speed faster, but is not required for this role. What's more important is a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. In this industry, attendance and punctuality is a critical part of our mission - doing whatever it takes to help deliver what matters.
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Physical demands of this job are classified as Medium: exerting 51 to 100 pounds of force or lifting seldom and/or exerting 36 to 50 pounds of force or lifting occasionally, and/or 10 to 35 pounds of force or lifting frequently to move objects.
