Become an Information Technology Project Manager (Grid Services) at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll be responsible for delivering multiple Software projects / products in the Information Technology - Grid Solutions portfolio, that includes Grid Transmission, Substation and Grid Innovation projects with a high degree of quality and within scope, schedule, and budget. You will lead the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity, which require you to make daily decisions associated with project health, vendor performance, portfolio financials, and risks / issues. You will ensure technology investments deliver positive business value and are directly associated with strategic Organizational Unit (OU) goals. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multiple internal and external partners, at various levels of management including IT vendors, PMO, Cybersecurity, Change & Release Management, Service Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations. Additionally, you will coordinate with multiple collaborators to evaluate performance against project plans, resolve issues, and manage escalations, while effectively communicating across the leadership spectrum.

Responsibilities
- Manages the activities of one or more moderate to large, short to mid-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
- Exercises considerable latitude and judgement in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverables.
- Decides appropriate methods, procedures for new projects with significant independence.
- Engages with all levels of management and acts as a key consultant for both functional and business issues.
- Manages complex user story decomposition, dependency mapping, and backlog prioritization.
- Analyzes velocity trends, quality metrics, and team capacity to forecast release plans.
- Drives process improvements by analyzing sprint metrics and refining ceremonies, workflows, documentation, and tools.
- Implements Agile software development practices including test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoring.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
