We are currently seeking for a Full-Time Public Safety Officer to work at our hospital. The ideal Public Safety Officer applicant will have previous experience working as a security officer in a hospital setting as well as strong communication and customer service skills.
The responsibilities of the Public Safety Officer include, but are not limited to:
- Provide a welcoming environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and responding to requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform security patrols of exterior and interior of the hospital.
- Perform investigations and create incident reports.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies, maintaining the safety of patients and employees.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hospital security experience required
- Experience working security in a behavioral health setting preferred
- PERC card required
- 20 hour unarmed security training certificate required
- CPR Card
