Job Summary
This position works as part of a team assembling products for our customers with occasional guidance from experienced colleagues. The role involves tasks such as assembly, soldering, and testing.
Essential Job Functions
- Understand written work instructions and drawings to assemble and test products to high quality standards with zero defects or rework.
- Assemble components and products of varying size and complexity, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing.
- Meet expected assembly timelines outlined in production orders.
- Focus on production orders and assembly responsibilities throughout the day, asking questions when unclear.
- Cross-train to work in multiple production areas.
- Examine parts and materials for defects.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work performed.
- Perform tasks in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to Company policies regarding workplace behavior.
- The Company retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in soldering is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and comply with high quality standards.
- Good work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to shift between tasks to address changing production priorities.
- Basic mathematic knowledge.
- Proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office.
Physical Activities
- Work may be active, involving standing or sitting for long durations and/or repetitive tasks.
- Lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
- Grasp, manipulate, or assemble small parts and components.
- Wear appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment.
