Long-term substitute from March 24 - June 4, 2025
Qualifications:
1. Must possess State of MI teacher certification and/or a Master's degree and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in order to meet the State of MI requirements to provide speech and language services.
2. Be able to bill for Medicaid reimbursement, preferred.
3. Possess excellent communication skills.
4. Have experience teaching students of various ages and disabilities in a school setting preferred.
5. Have the ability to provide direct/indirect instructional/consultative services to students with disabilities, their parents, and to teachers.
6. Possess the proficiency to evaluate speech and language disabilities as a member of a multidisciplinary evaluation team.
7. Possess an understanding of the state and federal special education rules and regulations.
