Thornton Winery is hiring a friendly, energetic, and organized Busser. This is a part-time, seasonal position responsible for a variety of tasks during our Friday night and weekend jazz concerts running April through October.
Responsibilities Include:
- Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen.
- Prepare coffee, tea and provide water service for customers.
- Ensure a clean, safe and organized event area while providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications for Busser
- MUST be available Friday nights and Saturday nights. Some Sundays may be required.
- Restaurant and bussing experience.
- Must have a food handlers card and Responsible Beverage certification (RBS) or be able to obtain both within the first week.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under stress.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Tolerate being on your feet for extended periods and move throughout the property including stairs to the second level.
