Essential Functions

- Proficiency in conversational Spanish, with the ability to engage effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish to ensure clear and professional interactions.
- Ability to navigate and interpret cultural nuances in a bilingual environment.
- Previous experience using Spanish in a professional setting is preferred.
- Administers health and welfare plans, including new hire enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Reconciles benefits statements.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Conducts New hire Orientation including: Prepares new-employee files, Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files, Submits new-employee background checks.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Enters change forms into the HRIS and payroll system
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
- Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
- Takes an active role in proposing and completing strategic objectives that align with overall company objectives
- Uses a customer service mindset when answering employee requests and questions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
