Job Title: Business Development- Industrial Automation & Control

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans that align with strategic vendors to achieve business and market share growth.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the industrial automation sector.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and vendor teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s products and services.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback for leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Preferred 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the industrial sector.
  • Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Skills: Some knowledge of industrial automation products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Travel: Majority of time will be spent in Colorado. Occasional travel is to be expected.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with industrial control solutions.
  • Familiarity with the local market and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with business acumen to drive growth and build lasting client relationships.

Salary : $70,000 - $120,000
