Role and Responsibilities
- On-boarding and office support
- Maintain precise records of employee work hours, shifts, and overtime.
- Track daily attendance, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Collaborate closely with department supervisors to ensure accurate payroll submissions.
- Generate timekeeping reports and provide timely updates to management and clients.
- Address discrepancies in time records and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize a variety of programs to manage and monitor timekeeping systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity within all timekeeping processes.
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure the workplace runs smoothly.
- Oversee general office upkeep, including cleanliness and maintenance of common areas.
- Miscellaneous duties that may arise and are deemed necessary by On-Site Management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in timekeeping or payroll is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction/contracting industry.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in timekeeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with labor laws and industry standards related to timekeeping.
- Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
