You will be the architect for this team responsible to build, scale and innovate on the AI Analyst system and experience. You will have the opportunity to apply the latest advances in NLP and Generative AI, to help millions of business-people make smarter decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Bring technical thought leadership to advance ThoughtSpot’s differentiation and market leadership in the democratizing data analytics for business users
- Define vision and roadmap for the team working closely with executive leadership
- Applying state-of-the-art models and techniques to problems in Data Analytics with a continuous focus on accuracy, consistency and reliability
- Provide mentorship to the team to make this a world class engineering team
- Building, training and deploying Machine Learning models in Natural Language problems like understanding ambiguous user intent, reasoning about data, translating business language to data taxonomy and generating structured output
- Design, develop, test, maintain, monitor and improve distributed systems, data pipelines and ML infrastructure to enable high velocity iteration
- This is not a research position. It is a ML engineer role
- Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (Preferred).
- Have 15 years of experience designing and implementing consumer-grade AI applications. You understand what it takes to write software that is used by millions of people.
- Experience in training, evaluating, deploying and monitoring deep learning and transformer models in the cloud
- Proficiency in pytorch/TensorFlow, Kubernetes, GPU/TPUs
- Familiar with methods of training and fine-tuning large language models, such as distillation, supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning and policy optimization
- Strong coding skills in one of the modern languages such as C /GO/Java/Python
- Exposure with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data, as well as AI/ML models based on unstructured, structured, and streaming datasets
- Previous experience with search relevance and LLMs, is a plus.
