Principal Architect - AI / MLPrincipal Architect - AI / ML Apply locations US - Mountain View time type Full time posted on Posted 5 Days Ago job requisition id JR1230WHAT'S THE ROLE?Principal AI / ML Architect for Spotter (AI Analyst) team.WHAT YOU'LL DO?Bring technical thought leadership to advance ThoughtSpot’s differentiation and market leadership in the democratizing data analytics for business users.Define vision and roadmap for the team working closely with executive leadership.Applying state-of-the-art models and techniques to problems in Data Analytics with a continuous focus on accuracy, consistency and reliability.Provide mentorship to the team to make this a world-class engineering team.Building, training and deploying Machine Learning models in Natural Language problems like understanding ambiguous user intent, reasoning about data, translating business language to data taxonomy and generating structured output.Design, develop, test, maintain, monitor and improve distributed systems, data pipelines and ML infrastructure to enable high velocity iteration.This is not a research position. It is a ML engineer role.WHAT YOU BRING?Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (Preferred).Have 15 years of experience designing and implementing consumer-grade AI applications. You understand what it takes to write software that is used by millions of people.Experience in training, evaluating, deploying and monitoring deep learning and transformer models in the cloud.Proficiency in pytorch / TensorFlow, Kubernetes, GPU / TPUs.Familiar with methods of training and fine-tuning large language models, such as distillation, supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning and policy optimization.Strong coding skills in one of the modern languages such as C / GO / Java / Python.Exposure with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data, as well as AI / ML models based on unstructured, structured, and streaming datasets.Previous experience with search relevance and LLMs is a plus.What makes ThoughtSpot a great place to work?ThoughtSpot is the experience layer of the modern data stack, leading the industry with our AI-powered analytics and natural language search.
