Wastewater System Maintenance Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly inspections of wastewater facilities located throughout the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on wastewater systems and their facilities.
- Record inspections, maintenance, and repairs made to wastewater facilities according to U.S. EPA Region 8 standards.
- Collect, store, and deliver wastewater effluent for testing purposes.
- Respond to emergency situations and system breakdowns after hours.
- Maintain and repair department vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Pursue certifications in wastewater collection and treatment.
- Communicate openly with supervisors and department directors.
- Participate in other duties as assigned by management.
