Three Bears Alaska is opening a new store in Delta and now looking for Multiple Department PIC to join thee team!
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated PICs to take charge of our store's operations and ensure the efficient management of the departments. As the PIC, you will be responsible for various tasks, including stock management, customer service, team supervision, merchandise orders, and compliance with federal and state laws where necessary.
To keep the department well-stocked and aligned with customer demand, you will regularly place merchandise orders.

Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders and lifting up to 20 pounds at waist/chest level continuously, up to 50 pounds below waist or at waist/chest level occasionally, and up to 50 pounds above the shoulder occasionally.. - Sales and Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations for all products.
- Offer detailed product knowledge across department-specific items (e.g., grocery, chilled/frozen goods, outpost items).
- Verify high-ticket item transactions with supervisors when applicable.
- Merchandising and Inventory
- Maintain organized displays and shelves by restocking, rotating, and arranging products according to established standards.
- Verify product signage for accuracy and update as needed.
- Unbox and display products using appropriate tools while managing packaging materials.
- Collaborate with vendors or suppliers to optimize stock levels and product rotation.
- Supervisory and Leadership
- Oversee daily department activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize merchandising tasks and maintain labor schedules.
- Lead team members by providing guidance and ensuring consistent performance.
- Register Operations
- Accurately process register transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment types.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer counts at the start and end of shifts.
- Assist with packaging customer orders and preparing merchandise for transfer as needed.
- Follow safety and security protocols when handling payments or high-value items.
- Safety and Maintenance
- Maintain department cleanliness through regular sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal.
- Use tools like pallet jacks to safely move and position merchandise.
- Adhere to all safety procedures when stocking, rotating, or handling chilled and frozen items.
- Ensure cold storage areas meet temperature and cleanliness standards.
- A High School Diploma or GED is a preferred.
- Knowledge of the specific department subjects
- Three years of retail experience preferred.
- Candidates with less than 3 years of retail experience may still be considered if they have a combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience to substitute for the retail experience requirement.
