Hours : 2 : 00 PM 10 : 30 PM with occasional OT as needed.

  Description of Position : < / b>< / p>

  • Supervisor : < / b>
    • Will spend 90% of the time supervising skilled trades and assisting them.< / li> < / ul> < / li>
    • Maintenance Engineer : < / b>
      • Troubleshooting electrical / mechanical issues within machining centers (10%).< / li> < / ul> < / li>
      • Work with the Maintenance Senior Maintenance Team Leader to ensure the maintenance organization aligns with the cost structure.< / li>
      • Responsible for performing weekly preventive maintenance audits to improve visibility and effectiveness.< / li> < / ul>

        Skill Set Requirements : < / b>< / p>

        • SAP experience.< / li>
        • Experience with unions / maintenance / safety is highly preferred.< / li>
        • Background in engineering is preferred.< / li>
        • Ability to lead a team of unionskilled trades including pipe fitters electricians and R5s (mechanics).< / li>
        • Active engagement in the Maintenance Safety Culture.< / li>
        • Experience in leading / supporting preventive maintenance programs.< / li> < / ul>

          Major Purpose : < / b>< / p>

          Plans coordinates and performs facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure production equipment and processes of moderate to large scope. Operates in a team environment assigns tasks coordinates and reviews the work of support and contract personnel. Manages limitedscope projects with supply and budget management responsibilities. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.< / p>

          Major Duties : < / b>< / p>

          • Provides engineering design for facility infrastructure grounds and production equipment through internal / external resources.< / li>
          • Manages projects related to facility infrastructure production machines and processes. Projects may involve several engineering disciplines and external contractors.< / li>
          • Troubleshoots facility infrastructure and production equipment to support operations.< / li>
          • Responds to critical production downtime situations.< / li>
          • Maintains project budget control using the units cost control system.< / li>
          • Supports programs to prevent injuries / illnesses and addresses environmental safety and ergonomic hazards.< / li>
          • Researches and identifies qualified suppliers for materials and services.< / li>
          • Prepares and submits purchase orders for management approval.< / li> < / ul>
