Job Title : Ship / Rec / Stores Clerk II

Client : Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration : 6 months and 16 days

Location : Grand Rapids MI 49504

Shift : 6 : 30 AM 2 : 30 PM (MF)

Responsibilities :

  • Receiving processes
  • Staging parts for production
  • Cycle Counting
  • Forklift use onthejob training
  • Willing to work extra hours when needed

Job Duties :

  • Performs manual and clerical shipping / receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
  • Uses computer system for tracking logging verifying and reporting.
  • Follows shipping practices transportation routing schedules and requirements.
  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
  • Unpacks / wraps finished products raw stock assemblies parts etc.
  • Verifies quantity weight and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
  • Logs receipt of items processes freight bills packing sheets and other documents.
  • Reports materials shipped and bills of lading posts weight / shipping charges and routes merchandise.
  • Production Support Career Stream :

  • Supports manufacturing operations / distribution centers : assembly machinery processing packaging and / or distribution.
  • Sets up and operates automatic / semiautomatic machines in production.
  • Reports machine malfunctions and abnormalities; higher levels may recommend / make adjustments.
  • Involved in shipping receiving inventory control or storage of products.

  • Follows operational procedures and equipment usage guidelines.
  • Performs clerical tasks in a distribution center based on prior experience.
