MerchSource, a Three-Sixty Group Company is a $400.0MM consumer products company that designs and develops consumer products and solutions in the areas of Toys, Home Comfort, Wellness, RC, and cross-category gifting. Brands include the iconic FAO Schwarz, Sharper Image, Vornado and Discovery Kids. MerchSource is very excited to announce the recent opening of our Distribution Center in Bloomingdale, GA. We are looking for Warehouse Associates to join our team.


This position is responsible for most activities throughout the warehouse from Inbound to Outbound functions. Specifically, a Warehouse Associate performs any and all the following roles: Receiver, Unloader, Auditor (Inbound), Cubi-Scan Operator, Scanner, Loader, Auditor (Outbound), Ecommerce Picker, Ecommerce Packer, Ecommerce Loader, General Associate, Quality Control, Value Added Services (VAS), and Inventory Control Slotter. The associate picks, packs, and ships product to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks product as required. 

 

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday On-Site Bloomingdale, GA 31302.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as business requires.

Must be able to reliably commute to and from the facility and work the entire assigned shift.

 

POSITION:

  • Receiver (Inbound) – The Receiver is responsible for manually unloading floor-loaded containers and palletize them in accordance with the UOM and TIHI requirements. The Receiver scans the product from the shipping report and scan the LPN for the pallet. The Receiver requests a reconciliation from the Inbound Coordinator once product has been palletized correctly and fully received.
  • Unloader (Inbound) – The Unloader is responsible for manually unloading floor-loaded containers and palletize them in accordance with the UOM and TIHI requirements. The Unloader shrink wraps the product for Put Away.
  • Auditor (Inbound) – The Auditor is responsible for validating issues with shipments and record them on the receiving Overage/Shortage Report. The Auditor checks all pallets for UOM accuracy and Cycle count of any extra product at dock door. The Auditor must inform Supervisor of mistakes and ensure measurement accuracy by periodically using the CubiScan. The Auditor randomly checks inbound dock doors for shipment accuracy.
  • Cubi-Scan Operator (Inbound) – The Cubi-Scan Operator is responsible for scanning new product to be received into the warehouse. The Cubi-Scan Operator weighs the carton, enters correct UOM by the pallet and carton quantity therefore validating each item. The Cubi-Scan Operator scans the LPN and replaces the carton on the pallet. The Cubi-Scan Operator checks Korber to ensure that the measurements have been recorded so that the pallet can be received, reconciled, and put away.
  • Scanner (Outbound) – The Scanner is responsible for the picking process by inputting product and location information into the RF Scanners. The Scanner affixes labels to the product in accordance with customer specifications. The Scanner helps shrink wrap and stage the product at the appropriate dock door in order by load number with pallet placards attached. The Scanner helps the loader hand load all trucks that require floor-loading.
  • Loader (Outbound) – The Loader is responsible for affixing labels to the product in accordance with customers specifications. The Loader shrink wraps and stages the product at the appropriate dock door in order by load number with pallet placards attached. The Loader is responsible for hand loading all trucks that require floor-loading.
  • Auditor (Outbound) – The Auditor is responsible for auditing and ensuring all staging and loading accuracy (UOM, labels, pallet placards) meet each customer requirements. The auditor ensures that, all product has been loaded on the truck. If Blowout (product that cannot be loaded on Truck) or Shortage occurs, the Auditor is responsible for quarantining product left on the dock until a decision to assign a new load # or put away has been determined.
  • Ecommerce Picker (Outbound) – The Ecommerce Picker (E-Picker) is responsible for manually picking product from the Ecommerce area and loading it onto a cart and delivering product to appropriate packing station when the cart is full.
  • Ecommerce Packer (Outbound) – The Ecommerce Packer (E-Packer) is responsible for manually packing product into the appropriate box/package. The E- Packer attaches labels to the outside of the package/box and places the item on a pallet. The E-Packer continues this process until the entire cart has been packed appropriately.
  • Ecommerce Loader (Outbound) – The Ecommerce Loader (E-Loader) is responsible for taking the pallet of packed Ecommerce merchandise to the appropriate dock door and loading the merchandise into the truck. The E-Loader uses a pallet jack to take the pallet to the dock door and physically unload the pallet into the truck.
  • General Associate – The General Associate is responsible for removing cardboard from around pallets and affixing labels to the cartons. The General Associate may also be involved with shrink wrapping pallets for shipment of product.
  • Quality Control – The Quality Control associate is responsible for taking pictures and documenting the loads. The associate is responsible for ensuring that the product is not damaged and is properly wrapped for shipment.
  • VAS (Special Projects) – The Value Added Services (VAS) associate is responsible for the additional work required to ready the product in the warehouse before it is shipped to the customer. The VAS associate builds displays, relabels product, reboxes product and processes returns as needed.
  • Inventory Control Slotter (IC) – The Inventory Control Slotter is responsible for manually loading the floor forward pick locations and setting the product in the system. The Inventory Control Slotter cycle counts inventory back into the locations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport product/materials to designated areas using appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
  • Sort and place product on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and ship materials and products.
  • Use RF Scanner equipment to receive and pick product.
  • Affix labels to incoming and outgoing pallets/product.
  • Process all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts; replenish stock from back-up locations as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts.
  • Perform required administrative tasks; prepare all required reports and correspondence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to two years related experience.
  • Familiarity with warehouse shipping practices and handling methods.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards in performance and quality.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, math (counting/addition and subtraction) and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • attention to detail.
  • Proficient on RF Scanner and Excel.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work well with teammates.
  • Forklift certified (preferred not required).
  • Ability to frequently lift/carry/ push/pull up to 50lbs.
