Web Designer / Graphic Designer
Digital marketing agency seeking a full-time Website & Graphic Designer to support some of the most exciting brands in Washington, DC and across the US! We offer fully remote work with a flexible schedule but preference will go to applicants in DC, MD, or VA. You’re a self-starter who appreciates the value of learning new skills and keeping up with the latest trends in graphic design. You not only know a number of graphic design tools, but you also value learning new tools & skills, and a strong drive to develop your creative knowledge.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and develop wireframes & mockups for websites and mobile applications
- Edit and refine website concepts using Adobe and/or Figma
- Design, format, and send email blasts in Mailchimp and Constant Contact
- Create graphics and layouts for brochures and other collateral
- Design social media graphics, blog graphics, website graphics.
- Work with clients to create and manage Business and Design Requirement Documents, as well as other scope documents
- Collaborate with our website development team to ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices across all client websites
- Contribute to content marketing plans, identifying opportunities to create and promote digital content that can improve search engine traffic and quality rankings
- Perform research on competitors and industry trends, and keep up to date with best practices, visual design and industry research
- Collaborating with other creatives including designers, photographers and other animators
- This role is equally client-facing as it is “behind the scenes”
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in website and graphics design
- Experience in design and animation software, and creating digital 2D and 3D models
- Experience with Email Marketing tools, such as MailChimp and Constant Contact
- Skilled, professional communicator, both in-person and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Local to Washington, DC metro area
