Position Details:
- Start Date: February 2, 2025
- Position Available: Youth Director
- Commitment: Part-time (with flexibility for evening and weekend events)
- Location: Thrive Church, 2065 McConnells Hwy, Rock Hill, SC 29732
Requirements:
- Strong faith and commitment to the mission of Thrive Church
- Previous experience in youth ministry or related fields
- Ability to plan and lead engaging programs for middle and high school students
- Passion for mentoring and discipling young people
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Availability to attend weekly services, youth group meetings, and special events
- A heart for service and building relationships within the church community
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the youth ministry program for middle and high school students
- Plan and organize weekly youth group meetings, events, and activities
- Provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and support for students and their families
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for youth to grow in their faith
- Work closely with other ministry leaders to integrate youth into the overall life of the church
- Communicate regularly with parents and volunteers to keep them informed and engaged
