We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team.
- Provide support during therapy sessions, including art therapy and behavioral therapy.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities and encourage participation in group sessions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
- Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Support patients dealing with addiction counseling and gender issues counseling.
- Work effectively with children and individuals on the autism spectrum, providing tailored support as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals and groups.
- Familiarity with medical records management and clinic operations is desirable.
- Background in behavioral therapy is a plus.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques is essential.
- Experience in addiction counseling is beneficial.
- Understanding of ICD-9 coding is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
