Title: Strengthening Families Program (SFP) Workshop Facilitator

Position Overview:
Thrive! Family Recovery Resources (Thrive) is seeking a part-time Workshop Facilitator to help deliver the Strengthening Families Program (SFP for ages 7-17). This role involves working with families to foster stronger relationships, communication, and resilience. The facilitator will lead workshops with families in a compassionate, engaging manner, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for participants.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend mandatory Strengthening Families Program training, including three full days of virtual training and approximately six hours of pre-training preparation.
- Co-facilitate 12-week workshops with approximately 10 families, scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025. These workshops will take place in the evenings (example: every Tuesday evening at 5pm for 12 weeks).
- Facilitate structured, engaging sessions using the SFP curriculum to promote positive family dynamics and communication.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters participation and trust among families.
- Collaborate with co-facilitators to deliver structured sessions, including presentations, activities, and group discussions.
- Maintain attendance records, gather feedback from participants, and complete program documentation as required.
- Communicate regularly with the Executive Director to discuss progress and address any challenges.
- Help set up and break down workshop spaces before and after sessions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications:
· Passion for supporting families and enhancing family relationships.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with diverse populations.
· Previous experience facilitating groups, workshops, or educational programs (preferred).
· Bilingual or Spanish-speaking abilities (highly preferred but not required).
· Availability to attend training and facilitate two 12-week workshop series (fall 2025).
· Ability to pass a background check.
Additional Details:
· Workshops will take place in or around Washington County, MN.
· Facilitators will receive a stipend of $75 per week during active workshop periods, with payments issued biweekly.
