Pay Range: $22/hr to $28/hr
Get on the ground floor of our brand new freeze-dry manufacturing facility in Corona Ca. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources Assistant.
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in the human resources cycle for our current and prospective employees in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate is one who is committed to delivering a genuine and caring employee experience, has ability to be highly detailed, can execute administrative processes and represent the company enthusiastically. You will ensure that recruiting has a smooth and efficient process to turn high quality and motivated candidates into Thrive Freeze Dry employees. Thrive Freeze Dry, Corona CA is a new build start-up and a fast-paced environment, and the HR Assistant is an integral part of the success that fuels our operation. You work directly with the HR Manager and Plant Manager to coordinate and assist in the day-to-day human resources and recruiting activities.
Essential Duties Include:
- The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level specifically for recruiting, onboarding and employee engagement activities.
- The Human Resources Assistant will also play a dual role as Receptionist at our new facility by greeting visitors and candidates into our facility.
- The successful candidate will be heavily focused on recruiting and staffing for production jobs and will coordinate the processes in the employment cycle from recruitment to termination.
- Utilizing ADP will be responsible for conducting onboarding for all new hires and off-boarding as employees exit the organization.
- Through a multi-faceted recruiting initiative, the successful candidate will actively partner with organizational leadership to identify staffing needs and to create accurate job descriptions, job postings and recruit.
- This role will assist in coordinating and communicating employee engagement activities.
- Position will assist in handling employee questions as it relates to benefits, payroll, and company policies.
Position Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience recruiting employees preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent. AS/AA Degree or BA/BS Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and prior experience working with HRIS systems.
- Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work and follow instructions on a routine basis.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements Include: Must be able to perform the following with or without accommodation.

- Consistent and reliable attendance as there is limited employees able to perform the duties of this position.
