Receptionist/HR Administrative Assistant
Location: Oak Creek, Wisconsin
Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Thrive Freeze Dry is a rapidly expanding manufacturer specializing in high-quality freeze-dried products. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Receptionist/HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position is essential in providing a warm welcome to visitors while supporting our Human Resources and Plant Management teams with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and courteous welcome.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls; take messages and schedule appointments as needed.
Manage incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
Maintain visitor logs and ensure adherence to company security protocols.
Assist in issuing and maintaining keycard access.
Support the HR department with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management.
Help maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist in organizing HR initiatives including employee engagement activities, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Monitor and replenish office and facility supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role; HR support experience preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish - strongly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with basic office technologies.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Positive attitude and adaptable nature; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service-oriented with a friendly and welcoming approach.
Physical Requirements:
