As a Health & Wellness Coach, you will empower employees at a leading organization to enhance their health, wellbeing, and resilience. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide one-on-one coaching, deliver science-backed behavior change strategies, lead engaging global wellbeing programming, and host impactful webinars—helping to cultivate a thriving culture of wellbeing.
This role is hybrid and will require 2-3 days a week in the customer’s office.

Key Responsibilities
1:1 Coaching:
- Provide Personalized Coaching: Deliver in-person and virtual sessions to support employees in improving stress management, sleep, nutrition, movement, weight management, social connections, sustainable wellbeing, etc.!
- Develop Bespoke Health Plans: Create individualized action plans based on employees’ goals and leveraging evidence-based behavior change methodologies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all coaching sessions to document progress.
- Serve as a Matchmaker for Resources: Aid employees and families in navigating a generous and robust benefits suite to ensure they are connecting with the support that’s right for them.
- Facilitate Group Workshops & Webinars: Lead interactive health and wellbeing sessions on topics such as stress management, mindfulness, work-life integration, burnout prevention, and fitness. Ensure wellbeing strategies remain inclusive, culturally relevant, and accessible to a diverse, global workforce.
- Collaborate with Organizational Stakeholders: Develop strong working relationships and communication with key stakeholders. Work with Thrive and other coaches to align coaching strategies with company-wide wellbeing initiatives. Draw on your professional expertise and real-time feedback from employees to inform future direction and content of the program.
- Support Company-Wide Wellbeing Programs: Assist in launching, promoting, and scaling health and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring engagement and adoption across teams. Participate in biometric screening events, employee health fairs, and other onsite and virtual programming as needed.
- Leverage Digital Tools & Analytics: Utilize digital coaching platforms and send out regular surveys to track and measure coaching and wellbeing program impact, identify any gaps, and align with customer and individual goals. Identify opportunities to introduce new programs, tools, and resources that align with evolving employee needs.
- Stay Informed on Health and Wellbeing Trends: Embrace a learner’s mindset and seek out the latest research, news, trends, and best practices on behavioral health, resilience, and workplace wellbeing to enhance coaching effectiveness.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, health coaching, nutrition, behavioral science, or a related field. Certification from a recognized coaching organization (e.g., NBC-HWC, ICF) preferred.
- Coaching Experience: 5 years of experience in corporate health coaching, wellness programming, or a related field. Expertise in resilience training, mindfulness practices, or cognitive behavioral coaching techniques.
- Clinical Health Education: Must have experience with clinical health education, weight loss management, nutrition, tobacco cessation, stress management, physical activity, etc.
- Must have a strong understanding of various biometric results including and not limited to blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BF/BMI, and more.
- Strong Communication & Empathy: Ability to build trust, listen actively, and provide tailored guidance to diverse populations. Comfortable speaking in front of live and virtual audiences.
- Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven: Experience working with digital coaching platforms, health data, and wellbeing analytics.
- Understanding of Workplace Dynamics: Familiarity coaching individuals through the challenges and stressors employees face in corporate settings, particularly in high-performance environments. Experience developing, planning, and launching health programs.
- Motivational & Engagement Skills: Ability to drive high levels of engagement, think creatively to reach previously disengaged individuals, and create positive and sustainable cultures of behavior change.
- Experience working within enterprise organizations or large-scale wellbeing programs.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
