- Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours/week guaranteed)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
About the Role:
Are you a psych RN with nerves of steel and a heart of gold? We’re looking for an experienced Behavioral Health RN to provide top-notch care on an adolescent psych unit. If you can handle midnight existential crises, the occasional game of "No, You Can’t Leave," and believe in the power of de-escalation over sedation, this is the job for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing compassionate psychiatric care – Because sometimes, listening is the best medicine.
- Documenting in EPIC – If you didn’t chart it, did it even happen?
- Floating to other units as needed – Variety is the spice of life!
- De-escalating situations with expert communication – Your middle name is Calm Under Pressure.
- Providing guidance to mental health workers – Because teamwork makes the dream work.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensure: Active VT RN License (or willing to obtain!)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), CPI (or willingness to complete onsite)
- Experience: 5 years of RN experience with recent psych experience (within the last 3 months)
- Skills: Comfortable working with adolescents, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care
- Flexibility: Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts as needed.
