GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Preschool Teacher shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes skills and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature able and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. The teacher shall plan organize and teach while integrating biblical principles in the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities. They will monitor evaluate and keep students parents and the administration adequately informed of progress or deficiencies; attend and participate in scheduled devotional inservice retreats committees faculty and scheduled parent meetings; follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with conflict with students parents staff and administration.

5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost they that are saved unto the resurrection of lifeand they that are lost unto the resurrection of (John 5 : 2829) .
6. We believe God created the sacrament of marriage to be the union of one man and one woman and is a reflection of Christs relationship to his church (Ephesians 5 : 2527) .
7. We believe that God wonderfully created each person as distinctly male or female. These two distinct complimentary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1 : 27) .
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8 : 9; I Corinthians 12 : 1213;Galatians 3 : 2628) .
9. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8 : 1314; I Corinthians 3 : 16; I Corinthians 6 : 1920; Ephesians 4 : 30; Ephesians 5 : 18) .
10. We believe that Christians top priorities are the Great Commandment and the Great Commission : that we should seek for ourselves and our students that we love the Lord with all our being and love our neighbor asourselves and seek to make disciples of the Lord Jesus in all the world (Matthew22 : 3640; Matthew 28 : 1820) .

This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth morality and the proper conduct of mankind is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Portland Christian Schools faith doctrine practice policy and discipline our Board of Directors is the final interpretive authority on the Bibles application .
