Job Summary:
The Operations Manager of Thrive Services is responsible for overall management and operation of the organization, including strategic planning, financial management, program development, and staff management. This position requires a strong leader with experience in the field of developmental disabilities and attendant care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Financial Management: Manage the organization's finances, including budget development, financial reporting, and fundraising.
- Program Development: Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities who require attendant care.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train (in conjunction with department leads), and supervise staff members, including ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state and federal regulations related to attendant care.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, staff members, community partners, and government agencies.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement processes to ensure the highest level of care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to the Board of Directors, funders, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, business) required. Master's degree preferred.
- At least five years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and/or attendant care.
- At least three years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as an executive director or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to attendant care and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Strong financial management skills, including budget development and fundraising.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including clients, families, staff members, community partners, and government agencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Requirements:
Working at a computer for long periods.
