Thrive Treatment is a Joint Commission accredited and State-licensed provider of dual-diagnosis, intensive outpatient treatment. Job Description and Duties
Primary Therapist
will play an essential role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey, from admission to discharge. They will actively contribute to the development of treatment plans, provide both individual and group therapy sessions, and offer meaningful insights to help clients achieve their recovery goals. This position is located at our residential campus in Woodland Hills, CA, where you will work with a diverse and supportive team of clinicians.
Key responsibilities include :
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions according to the program schedule
Prepare group materials and research new therapeutic tools to include in sessions
Maintain up-to-date and accurate client charts in KIPU
Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and thorough treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure medication management and compliance
Communicate with clients' families or other treatment providers to support coordinated care
Attend clinical meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing trainings
Participate in the development and evolution of Thrive’s programs and services
Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and productive work environment
Required Qualifications
Must be a
Registered Associate
with the
Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- Excellent communication
interpersonal skills
