Job Opening: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Dixon, CA | Full-Time or Part-Time

Responsibilities
As an SLPA, you will support students in reaching their communication goals through the following duties:
- Provide direct therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
- Prepare therapy materials and organize activities that align with treatment goals
- Support classroom teachers by offering communication strategies and resources
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to support student success
- Follow all applicable school district and professional policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Qualifications (must meet one of the following)
- Associate of Arts or Sciences degree from a Board-approved SLPA program
- Equivalent out-of-state SLPA degree program approved by the Board
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
- Bachelor’s degree as above plus nine months of full-time work experience performing SLPA-related duties
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $52.00 – $56.00 per hour
- Schedule: Up to 35 hours/week
- Job Types: Full-Time or Part-Time
