We are seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer & Social Media savvy individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in CAD, social media, and be both creative and detail oriented. This is a full-time position, requiring someone who is punctual, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The role also involves administrative responsibilities, so the ability to manage tasks efficiently is essential. Travel is required for project-related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Support: Assist VP/Lead Designer in the development and execution of interior design concepts, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- CAD Drafting: Create detailed CAD drawings, plans, and 3D models for presentations and project documentation.
- Social Media Management: Manage the company’s social media presence by creating engaging content related to ongoing projects, design trends, and company achievements.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with the design team, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution from concept to completion.
- Administrative Duties: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing project files, tracking FF&E orders, and maintaining documentation.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, site visits, presentations, and installs ensuring a professional and courteous interaction.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed for project-related activities, such as site visits, client meetings, and installations. Travel may account for up to 50% of your time.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in interior design or a related field (internships included).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and other design tools. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
- Social media: Experience with managing social media accounts, particularly in a professional setting.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as independently when needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Responsibility: Demonstrates reliability and responsibility in all aspects of the role.
