TCI is Hiring a Bookkeeper!
The main goal of this position is to serve our companies by providing timely accounting information, maintaining transactional records, and supporting other accounting functions as needed. We are a small but mighty team, and this role provides the opportunity to cross-train across multiple functions and businesses. As the bookkeeper, you will receive paid on-the-job training upon starting and report directly to the Accounting Controller. Netsuite, and payroll experience are a plus but not required.

This position will be Full Time, and will be located at our Visiting Angels office in Pagosa Springs, Colorado-
Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30.
Pay starts at $23.00 or Based on Experience
General Duties:
- Enter and reconcile accounting transactions in Netsuite.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Enter monthly allocation journal entries into Netsuite.
- Continuously improving the efficiency of accounting processes.
- Assist with the month end close process, including preparing a balance sheet review, and partnering with the Controller to ensure completeness.
- Cross-training across other accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll to backup other team members as needed.
- Assisting with Accounts Payable weekly check runs as needed. This may include entering invoices, storing documentation, reconciling statements, and processing online payments.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be organized and process-driven.
- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
- Must have proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a mature, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated person that wants to be a team player.
- The candidate must be coachable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be ready and able to occasionally multitask and produce positive/accurate results.
- Must have good phone skills and excel at Customer Service.
- Must be proficient in math and detail-oriented.
- Must be proficient at Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must have experience with accounting and/or ERP software. Preferably NetSuite but other programs are acceptable.
- Must be self-directed and be able to work with minimal supervision
