SUMMARY – Thumb Bank & Trust is expanding our team and has an IT Support Specialist position opening. This is an in-person position that will be working in one of our branch locations located in either Huron, Sanilac, or Bay County, Michigan. The IT Support Specialist provides support to all aspects of the Thumb Bank & Trust IT Department including end-user and customer support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Windows desktop and server Active Directory support
- Familiar with Office 365 Admin Center
- Antivirus and patch management
- Provide technical support via in person, remote access, telephone, and email
- Occasional travel to other offices for project type work and support
- Available outside of business hours for support and project work as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum experience of 2 years working in general technology support, helpdesk, Windows servers and desktops, assisting with managing an Office 365 environment, troubleshooting and repairing computer and server hardware
- Minimum education of High School or GED
- Passion for learning and growing technical skills to support different applications, workflows, and hardware
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Hold self-accountable to meet commitments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include readily adapting the style of communication based on the situation
- Interpersonal skills to include patience
- Detail oriented
PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Physical agility to allow movement from place to place
- Physical strength to lift and transport computer materials and tools
- Dexterity of hands and fingers
- Moderate level of physical exertion required
- Ability to provide your own transportation required
