Duties
- Respond to wildland fire incidents and assist in fire suppression efforts.
- Operate firefighting equipment and tools effectively and safely.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
- Monitor vital signs of team members during operations to ensure health and safety.
- Provide first aid and basic life support as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for controlling fires.
- Conduct assessments of fire behavior and environmental conditions.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are operational and ready for deployment.
- Participate in training exercises to enhance firefighting skills and knowledge.
