What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Technician position at TI Fluid Systems?
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
1. Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment with focus on electrical components
2. Program and debug PLC controlled equipment on a wide variety of PLC platforms
3. Develop program flow charts and state diagrams for automation processes
4. Develop and maintain standards related to automation equipment
5. Assure conformity of third-party suppliers to TI Automotive equipment standards
6. Assist in equipment startup and launch activities at various locations
7. Improve efficiencies of existing automated equipment (may require mechanical repair)
8. Assist in troubleshooting PLC and automation issues on the manufacturing floor
9. Other duties as assigned by Controls or Engineering Manager
Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job: 1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions: 1. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
