What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Blender position at TI Fluid Systems?
Responsibilities:
- Mix material to required percentage amount per required specifications.
- Clean and maintain all related equipment (Blender, Loaders, Grinders, etc)
- Track and record regrind usage and history.
- Verify correct materials and labeling, and store in proper location.
- Determine daily material requirements for molding machines.
- Work with Materials Department to help maintain proper inventory levels of material.
- Maintain and clean the materials and regrind storage area.
- Assist Molding Leader with material changeovers.
- Scrap removal (Red Bins) and grinding.
- Serve as back-up to Process Technician or Die Setter as needed.
- Any additional work as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience preferred.
Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:
- MiOSHA Industrial Powered Truck License
- MiOSHA Overhead Crane License
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching and climbing stairs
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
- Pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs
- Use of hands and legs
- Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation
- Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
- Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors
- Operation of truck or motor vehicle
Working Conditions:
- Works inside within an automotive components manufacturing office setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
- Noise: constant above 85dcb with vibration
- Occasionally work with chemicals, grease, oils, machinery with moving parts, moving vehicles, hands in water, alone and more than 40 hours
Protective Equipment Required:
- Eye protection required
- Hearing protection Required
- Occasionally hard hat and gloves are required
- Safety toe shoes.
