What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler / Blender position at TI Fluid Systems ?
Responsibilities :
Mix material to required percentage amount per required specifications. Clean and maintain all related equipment (Blender, Loaders, Grinders, etc) Track and record regrind usage and history. Verify correct materials and labeling, and store in proper location. Determine daily material requirements for molding machines. Work with Materials Department to help maintain proper inventory levels of material. Maintain and clean the materials and regrind storage area. Assist Molding Leader with material changeovers. Scrap removal (Red Bins) and grinding. Serve as back-up to Process Technician or Die Setter as needed. Any additional work as assigned. Skill Requirements :
Excellent attendance. Strong professional and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and visitors in a respectful and professional manner. Proven ability to work independently as well as multi-task. Strong organization skills as well as extremely detail oriented. Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Technical and mechanical ability to service and maintain related equipment. Excellent mathematical skills. Education and Experience Requirements :
High School graduate or equivalent experience years experience preferred. Licensing or Special Certification Requirements :
MiOSHA Industrial Powered Truck License MiOSHA Overhead Crane License Physical Requirements :
Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching and climbing stairs Lifting and carrying up to lbs Pushing or pulling up to lbs Use of hands and legs Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation Ability for rapid manual / muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist / hands / fingers Vision : depth perception and distinguish basic colors Operation of truck or motor vehicle Working Conditions :
Works inside within an automotive components manufacturing office setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes / chemicals. Noise : constant above dcb with vibration Occasionally work with chemicals, grease, oils, machinery with moving parts, moving vehicles, hands in water, alone and more than hours Protective Equipment Required :
Eye protection required Hearing protection Required Occasionally hard hat and gloves are required Safety toe shoes.
