TI Fluid Systems is looking for a Purchasing intern student located at our Corporate Office in Auburn Hills, MI. Our office follows a hybrid work structure where employees work 3 days of the week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days remotely (Monday and Friday).
Description: The Purchasing intern student will contribute to the North American purchasing organization’s performance through a series of both tactical and strategic functions designed to:
- Expedite the completion of aged and outstanding data integrity concerns
- Improve transaction processing of key contract updates
- Assist in advancing data analytics required for strategic negotiations
- Eliminate aged supplier concerns
Ideal Candidate: Junior or senior-level student attending an accredited undergraduate program majoring in Supply Chain Management or other business related discipline such as Finance. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.80. Successful intern will be a self-starter, with a strong financial acumen and comfort level navigating and data mining web-based and mainframe systems and proposing recommendations. Excellent communication skills as frequent interaction with external suppliers and internal leadership are expected. Seeking local candidates only; no housing offered.
