Job Title: IAM Engineer
Location: Addison, TX ( 5 days onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. IAM Engineer with a strong background in Ping Identity, Single Sign-On (SSO), and enterprise-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise to design, implement, and support IAM platforms in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of hands-on experience and be ready to lead critical IAM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions with a strong focus on Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory).
Develop and maintain SSO integrations across internal and external applications.
Configure and manage authentication and authorization policies, federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and directory services.
Work closely with application teams, security, and infrastructure teams to integrate and support IAM services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues across multiple systems and platforms.
Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline IAM processes and enhance scalability.
Ensure compliance with security standards and policies (e.g., NIST, SOX, GDPR).
Required Skills & Experience:
10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity suite (especially PingFederate, PingAccess).
Deep understanding of SSO, MFA, federation standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and identity lifecycle management.
Experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and integration tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ping Identity certifications (PingFederate, PingAccess, etc.).
Experience with other IAM platforms like Okta, ForgeRock, SailPoint, or CyberArk.
Knowledge of cloud IAM (Azure AD, AWS IAM) is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integration for IAM.
