TIAG is now hiring a System Administrator to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency Mission at Ft. Meade. As the System Administrator, this role will assist with maintaining and monitoring the IT infrastructure and maintaining a secure information technology system operation. This is a full-time position with a hybrid telework option, reporting up to 3 times per week on-site.
Position Responsibilities :
- Provide system administrator functions for design and testing systems in a DoD environment.
- Proficient in setting up new servers, performing data backups / snapshots, migrating data to new servers, and decommissioning legacy systems.
- Knowledgeable with virtual servers, preferably VMware, with daily backups managed by DHA.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for hardware and software administration, installation, interoperability, configuration management, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Operate and manage the server infrastructure, including the administration, installation, configuration, upgrade, and sustainment of all servers running operating systems including but not limited to Microsoft Windows
- Assist various teams in scanning and patching all assets, completing STIG checklists, and mitigating all CAT I and CAT II open findings
- Manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO) in a Windows domain
- Deploy patches and packages with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for system administration, usage, and disaster recovery
- Engineer experience migrating for conversion from Office to Office 365 to include email, distribution lists, and mailboxes

Pay Range : $100,000 - $115,000 per year
