Position Summary:
The Industrial Sewer position provides the opportunity to utilize the individual’s skillset to create a product that is truly breathtaking. We are looking for an individual that is excited to join a very skilled team of Industrial Sewers for a company that is at the forefront of innovation and design in a growing industry. The Industrial Sewer should have pride, workmanship, and an eye for quality. We are looking for an Industrial Sewer who is dedicated, dependable, and personable to join our team. Our quality sets the standard in the marine industry and as a result sewing experience is required. Industrial sewing experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Basic math skills required
- Communicates current product, process and/or material constraints and issues with the team/group leader.
- With minimal supervision, sew specific material items per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions
- The Industrial Sewer must have the ability to read and understand sewing units of measures and sewing terms required
- Performs other related duties assigned by team/group leader
- The Industrial Sewer must have experience with single straight stitch, double needle and surger machine required
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Industrial Sewing education or equivalent experience
General Job Requirements:
- Ability to work overtime as requested
- Promote a safe and clean work environment
- Willingness to work on a team or individually
- Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
- Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
- Must follow company safety guidelines
