What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Family Law - Litigation Paralegal position at Tibbott & Richardson?
Our expanding law practice is looking for a paralegal with strong knowledge of all aspects of Family Law who can hit the ground running as we build our perfect team.
You will be a member of a dynamic and developing team. Applicants must be experienced, well-organized professionals who can work alone and with minimal supervision.
Because this is a full-time position, you must work 40 hours weekly in the office. Compensation is negotiable based on experience,

$40,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Organize legal research in support of motions, hearings, and other legal matters
- Calculate, track, and meet deadlines on all deliverables
- Communicate with clients to ensure proper service, answer basic process-oriented questions about their case, and gather information about their legal issues
- Create various legal papers, letters, affidavits, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and legal briefs
- Keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible
- Manage, organize, and analyze discovery and records
- Examine and prepare all financial disclosures and statements
- Knowledge of standard office administration software such as the internet, email, word processing, case management, time and billing, legal research, and document management is required
- Some knowledge and understanding of working with standard office equipment: scanner, copier, printer
- Must have excellent time-management skills, and organizational skills
