Tiberina Group acquired 10 acres of land to build their first manufacturing plant in the United States of America, as our headquarters is based in Italy. With a 75,000-square-foot building, our Detroit facility started production operations toward the end of 2020.
Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments of goods in a warehouse (Finished Goods and Raw Materials). This role involves coordinating and documenting the flow of products, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient shipping/receiving area.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify accuracy against shipping documents
- Unpack, sort, label, and store received items in designated areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to established procedures
- Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation for outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols in the shipping/receiving area
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software (EXCEL, ERP)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (EXCEL)
