Pizza Manager

Summary:
Responsible for Pizza Shop profitability by controlling labor/expenses and promoting sales using effective sales techniques and good customer service. Responsible for assisting the store manager in support effecting operations of the store by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities- approximately 45-55 hours per week to include the following;

1. Functions as role model to staff by performing all store functions as necessary, demonstrating good work habits, encouraging clean and safe work habits and promoting positive attitudes toward customers.
2. Trains and instructs store staff regarding job responsibilities on an ongoing basis.
3. Responsible for making sure employees are preparing all pizza products according to pizza spec charts and guidelines.
4. Responsible for ensuring adequate supply of all food and non food items is maintained at all times. Must at all times strive to maintain food cost in accordance to company standards.
5. Maintains store food and safety standards in accordance with ServeSafe license agreements to ensure all equipment is working properly and holding correct temperatures on every shift and complete logs as needed.
6. Minimizes customer complaints through effective customer service in accordance with store policy.
7. Reports any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to the Operations Manager immediately.
8. Create weekly schedule to provide sufficient staffing for store needs at all times, including call-offs and shift vacancies.
9. Prepares and submits time schedules as prescribed by corporate policy.
10. Ensures cash drawers are reconciled accurately on a daily basis.
11. Receives and examines deliveries for discrepancies and resolves problems promptly.
12. Picks up supplies from other stores as needed.
​13. Prepares daily paperwork and makes daily bank deposits.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
1. Interviews and hires store personnel.
2. Enforces store policies in verbal and written form as needed.
3. Ensuring all corporate and store marketing is posted and communicated to employees
4. Assigns daily duties and supervises store personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
5. Responsible for ensuring that the pizza shop is adequately staffed at all times.
6. Responsible for supervising the employees to ensure their proper performance.
7. Conducts performance evaluations for store personnel in accordance with company policy.
8. Handles all disciplinary actions and exit interviews for terminations of employees.
9. Must work at least one evening per week to audit the second shift.
10. Maintain professional and positive attitude towards upper management, employees and customers.
11. Exhibit a strong work ethic, loyalty and pride in the company.

Previous Pizza Experience
Previous Management Experience (at least 1 year)
