Shipping Specialist

Tick Performance is seeking a full-time shipping specialist. Tick Performance specializes in manufacturing aftermarket performance parts for the automotive industry in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. We also inventory and ship from all major companies in the industry.

The shipping department ships over 200 items per day, including freight and inbound packages. Prior shipping experience is preferable, but not required. An applicant must be physically able to stand on their feet for long periods of the day, lift and package boxes, and perform tasks such as going upstairs and ladders.

Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Must be a driven individual that works hard and is detail-oriented. Able to assist the sales staff accordingly. Must be able to handle phone calls and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

This is an entry-level position, and duties include reporting to the management team, tracking orders for salespeople, physically packaging and inventory items, as well as basic organizational needs. Having experience and certification for a forklift is a plus, but not required.

The applicant must be proficient in basic computer programs such as how to enter information into the system, excel files, and printing.
