About the Role:
Position: Accounts Payable and Receivable Associate
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time (In-person)
Job Overview:
The Accounts Payable and Receivable Associate will be responsible for managing and reconciling all outgoing payments related to ticket acquisitions and operational expenses, as well as overseeing incoming payments from ticket sales. This role ensures financial accuracy, timely vendor payments, and proper reconciliation of all transactions related to company revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices and ticket purchase transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and vendor accounts.
- Communicate with ticket suppliers, marketplaces, and vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payment records.
- Support the team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or finance (preferably in e-commerce, ticketing, or a brokerage-related business).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor interactions and internal reporting.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
