What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Strategy Business Unit position at Tide Rock?
We are seeking a Director of Strategy to drive Tide Rock's buyside investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify attractive investment opportunities by assessing high-growth markets and market niches that fit Tide Rock's investment criteria
- Conduct market research and collaborate with internal and external leaders to translate data-driven insights into investment theses
- Develop and refine the firm's investment strategy by identifying attractive industries, product categories, and customer segments
- Provide strategic guidance on which sectors and business models align best with the firm's investment philosophy and growth objectives
- Evaluate macroeconomic and regulatory factors that may impact investment decisions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment strategy roles
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of private equity, investment strategy, and market analysis
- Deep expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
- Experience developing growth strategies and evaluating business models across multiple industries
